@marikim, as a Professor of Construct Sciences, how often do you dream about constructs?
Assistant Professor. I dream about tenure mostly.
But do you *sometimes* dream about constructs?
I generally don’t recall my dreams, but let’s say no.
But hypothetically, you *could* be dreaming about me, yes?
This conversation is over.
Ship time is now 12:00. Now commencing beta shift.
@pgilani, sorry for bothering you (again!), but I’m stuck on the Pod 7 thermal regulator. I’ve recalibrated it three times but the readings are still drifting.
What steps have you taken?
I checked the sensor alignment, ran a diagnostic on the feedback loop, and verified the power supply. Everything checks out but the drift persists.
Did you check the thermal coupling coefficients?
I’m not sure what those are?
Chali, this is basic thermodynamics. How are you four months into this position and still don’t know fundamental concepts?
I’m sorry. I should have looked it up first.
You shouldn’t need to look it up. This is entry-level material. Didn’t your certification cover anything?
It did. I’m sorry -- I just need some time to review my old notes.
Yes, you do. Don’t touch the thermal regulator. I’ll take care of it.
Thanks, Pierre. I appreciate your help.
I’m not doing it for your sake. But we do have an actual university attached to this ship. Perhaps there’s some sort of remedial opportunity there.
I’ll look into it. Thanks for the advice Pierre.
