@xlbo, may I ask about Chang? You’ve been working on it for three days now. Can you actually repair a daemon while it’s still running?
You may always ask, Priya. The answer is I may only do so in part. Chang remains online, and I am able to service its secondary modules while it operates. Deeper repairs would require taking Chang fully offline.
*Are* deeper repairs required?
That remains to be seen.
OK, but it would go faster if Chang were offline, right?
That is a reasonable assumption to make.
But the road remains untaken. My state and Chang’s are twined.
Zalmux is simply reiterating that a Perceptible Intelligence may not operate without its daemon.
That is indeed the crux of the issue. And if Zalmux goes offline, we would have conversations about adequate safety margins that, in truth, I would prefer not to have.
