@khatch, I left a container of lentil soup outside your cabin. You looked pale at breakfast.
That’s just the way my face looks, Iris. But the soup is welcome.
Ship time is now 12:00. Now commencing beta shift.
Reminder: The Pod 10 sauna door opens outward. Pulling the handle is required. Pushing harder is not an alternative.
This ship has a sauna? We’ve been on this ship for almost a year now. How did I not know there was a sauna?
You’re not missing much. It’s smaller than the brochure suggested.
There’s a brochure?
Ship time is now 20:00. Now commencing gamma shift.
Do raccoons like organizing things? Wally was in the Forward Eng Ring cable bin. I thought she’d make a mess of things, but it’s actually pretty orderly? For a raccoon.
I mean, it’s different from how I sorted it. But it is sorted.
Just now. Let’s say between 20:00 and 20:10. Why?
I’m pretty sure I saw Wally a minute ago in the Aft Eng Ring.
Oh, interesting! How is the Aft Eng Ring’s cable bin sorted?
Uh, connector, gauge, length. That’s not the point though. Ring to ring is more than half the ship’s length.
Maybe she rode the tram? OK, but next question: Are extension cables sorted as length variants of their corresponding connector or a different connector?
Different. But really? The raccoon rides the tram.
Yes, he rides the tram. We settled this.
wally’s a she daddy
Right, sorry honey. She rides the tram.
@cslanet
Different. But really? The raccoon rides the tram.
OK, so I organized it as length variants because the only time you need an extension is if you don’t have a matching length to begin with. Wally’s intentionally undoing my system!
Sorting extensions by connector rather than by length would be more efficient if the purpose was to extend or replace existing connections rather than to install new cabling.
Oh, interesting! So you’re saying Wally is replacing our cabling?
No, I am merely making an observation about organization systems.
Who rides the tram and is absolutely not tampering with the wiring on this ship. I am going to bed. GOOD NIGHT.

@cslanet, I think we should probably refresh our cable network maps.
On it.
