Silas Crabtree
Professor Silas Crabtree is a senior xenolinguist with the Tycho Institute for Human Advancement, specializing in Perceptible Record analysis and PercInt communication patterns. His theoretical work on the linguistic structures underlying alien artifacts has been widely cited within the xenolinguistics community.
Dr. Crabtree joined the Interstellar Studies Program for the journey to SC-52d (Esmeralda), where the recent discovery of new alien artifacts presents a significant research opportunity. His work will focus on comparative analysis of the Esmeralda artifacts against known Perceptible Record samples, with particular attention to previously unobserved linguistic patterns. During transit, he is teaching seminars in xenolinguistics and PercInt communication theory.
